a message i got from the teacher in charge of the 'meet the mp' programme.

'dear students,

congratulations on taking part in this activity to nurture yourself as a future leader. bla bla bla...'

HA-bloody-HA. the way the world works right now, and considering the way the superpower/s ( the way i see it, its singular.. you know i know) of the world today have got such a tight grip on the necks of other governing bodies.. basically a case of whatever they say goes, this monopolization of global politics by em doesnt provide much of a lure to become a future leader.

but if you think you can enter the scene, make an impact and change the world view.. then go ahead, and sincerely, best of luck (:

wearing an expensive tailored suit and carrying a real leather briefcase (stereotype lol my bad) thats got animal rights activists protesting about.. zig zagging across borders in your private choppers, discussing current important giler babi issues that ironically have spanned a couple of years, doesnt quite cut it for me.

okay wait where was i? oh yea the prgramme, i joined simply to find out what the people -em rich businessmen, the disgruntled labourers, the takpasti ahpeks & pakciks who have witnessed the tenure of several elected governing bodY, all PAP la duhh- have to say, and because i know nuts about whats been happening locally let alone the rest of the world. like i said before, im politically daft hehh.

i have learnt not to expect too much from certain friendships/relationships because sometimes my expectations are skyhigh and unrealistic. its like self inflicted pain, of an emotional sense. enough. im content with my lot (:
